This topic is one topic that has to do with the brain, hence we can call it brain stumming.. It is also a spreadsheet package that is used for determining one out of two outcome.. we might wonder how, you see soon. The msost commonly used funtion in this topic is the IF condition X and Y. where X sounds for a value if true and Y for the false value.. X can be represented by 1 and Y by 0.
Determining one out of two outcomes simly means this; its either you are a boyt or girl, its either you a man or woman, its either your tall or short, fair or dark in complextion and so on and so forth.
It can be calculated with the following fields,
S/N
NAME OF STUDENT
GENDER
LOGICAL RESULT: this field is used for determining the outcome.
=IF(C5="MALE",1,0)
the above formula should be applied when you get to this field, feom all the fields we have, you notice there is only one field that has 2 features, and thats the Gender field, because it has either male or female.
from the formular above,
C stands for the GENDER cell
Male is the logial test
1 is the true value and
0 is the false value
THE FORMULA: DEAR COMPUTER, IF WHAT U HAVE IN C5 IS MALE, SHOW ME 1 IT ITS NOT SHOW ME 0... i guess its easy now
