SanDisk just announced the Connect Wireless Stick, a small USB flash drive that also doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server. It will allow customers an easy way to access their files over multiple devices.<br />

The device looks like a regular flash drive but has built in wireless capabilities that allow you to connect three devices at a time to access the files on it. All you have to do is copy the files and then switch on the wireless functionality and connect to it to access them.<br />
<br />
The best part is that you don’t even need to connect it to a computer or a USB port as there is a built in battery that will keep the device running for around 4 and half hours. This will be a useful tool especially for those with devices that don’t have expandable memory and sort of works like a wireless USB OTG.<br />
<br />
There is a SanDisk Connect app that allows you to access your content over a password protected WiFi connection and since this doesn’t require you to use up your cellular data bandwidth, it is cheaper as well compared to downloading from the cloud. The Connect Wireless Stick will be available in 16, 32, 64 and 128GB variants costing US$29.99-99.99 depending on the storage model you choose. The device currently supports only Android and will be available in the USA only but we expect it to be made available in other regions and on other platforms very soon.</div>

Simply put, formatting is the process of preparing the hard drive to be in its best<br />performance for your usage as well as removing all other contents that were present in it.. For installing upgrades<br /><br />Upgrading your computer's operating system is a natural reason to format your computer as every<br />users wants to the updated with the new interface. Leave the Hard Drive Flat<br /><br />If your hard drive is a magnetic external hard drive then you should always allow it to lay flat since it was produced to be that way. Hard drives of this nature are more like a record play, due to the great design of the hard drive there is a niddle that moves toward the platter but no matter how fast it moves it cannot touch it, so when you have a hard drive that is suppose to lay flat and maybe you turn it around. This may lead to the niddle in the hard drive going ether too far or two closer to the platter and this may be damaging to the processing speed and performance of your hard drive.<br /><br />2. Scan the hard drive for errors<br /><br />This is also another way to maintain our hard drive, we simply can insert the hard drive in the computer, and scan it with your anti virus for errors.. Although it’s not essential to carry this test out often, it’s worth doing every once in a while.<br /><br />3. Cables Maintenance<br /><br />Sometimes, the kind of cable we use with our external hard drive really matters. So at all times we want to always make sure that the connection between our hard drive and the cable are intact in order for us not to loose the files in our hard drive due to an unexpected disconnection. This could also occur while your transferring/moving files. the result on the hard drive may be fatal as time goes on, hence we wanna watch this aspect seriously. Using short cables can me more efficient and faster, sometimes longer cables really does help but they can easily develop one fault or the other and starts the connecting and disconnecting process...<br /><br /><br />3. Make sure you buy a good hard drive<br /><br />most times, the cause of all these problems may not be laying it flat or the cable, although they have their own problems they add, but the main reasons for such problems is that sometimes we go for hard drives that are not good, simply because they are affordable.<br />There are lots of hard drives in our locality today, and the best practise should be choosing a hard drive that will work best for you and you alone. Going for hard drives that are cheap or sold in non computer  gadgets stores may be detrimental to us..<br />To confirm this, when i bought a 500GB hard drive sometime ago it was about 14000 naira, and it contained a very tight table i used this for over 2 years before misplacing it, but recently when i got a 320GB hard drive, OH MY GOODNESS, is was crap, i got it 7000 naira and to my surprise the hard drive came with come with loose cables and an inferior hardware inside.<br />Doing some little research about hard drives before going to buy them can be a best practise, as it can save you from buying fake and UN-durable hard drives, so after researching about a particular hard drive, looking for it is the next stage..<br /><br />4. ALWAYS EJECT<br /><br />This is common with some persons, after using the external hard drive, they open "MY COMPUTER" and right click on the the hard drive partition to look for eject, and once EJECT is not found, they just remove the USB cable from the system. If your doing this, you really have to stop because your causing great damage to your hard drive and the files you have inside.<br /><br />5. <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">There are times when we might be in need of a particular song, been it an audio or a video, and after sending it to oyur devices, (computer or phones) they refuse to play, maybe due to unsupported formats or sometimes the size of the file might be too large for our gadget to play, annoying right? Well, i'm happy to write  this post about how Audios and videos can be converted to siut the compactibility of our phones or gadgets. At one time or the other you might want to look for a way you can lock a folder, that has alo bothered me a lot before until i came to see some softwares responsible for that, i happen to know and have used one of such softwares like FOLDER LOCK, but it might interest you to know that we can lock folders with just a simple code on notepad. But why do i need to lock a folder ? This is another part of this discussion that really depends on the user or the owner of the folder. I will write 1000 in a cell and will show you how to determine the name of that cell carrying 1000. This is where we now come to tracing the cell's name. MICROSOFT EXCEL - SALES DAY BOOK ?

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Sales day book is a spreadsheet analysis that is used for the calculation of goods sold out of a firm in a given sales day, week, month or year.. This topic in Microsoft excel is of importance to managements, as this can help them to know it they are making profits or running loss. Well, there are some functions (little formulas  that are applied before the program starts functioning well. All the topics have their own formulas  so please do not join them together, if you get confused along the way simply drop your question/questions in my comment box and i will pay attention to it.<br />The fields present in sales day book are as follows;<br />SERIAL NUMBER<br />DATE<br />NAME OF CUSTOMER<br />PARTICULARS<br />QUANTITY<br />RATE<br />COST<br />CASH<br />BALANCE<br /><br />The serial number is our normal numeric values, numbering from 1-0. To get this in excel, all you have to do is to click on a cell and type the number (1). As you will see, the cell containing the 1 is an active cell, hence its border will be thicker and it will also have a thick dark spot at the bottom right. Now all you have to do is to take your cursor to that spot and click and hold and drag it downward, holding down your control key, when you get to your destination, LEAVE THE CONTROL KEY BEFORE LEAVING THE LEFT CLICK BUTTON, you will see the numbers is order from 1-20 as the case may be. Another way of doing this is by holding your left click, drag it to the button without holding your control key, after leaving the left click you will notice what you will have is a repeated figure like....<br />Now at the bottom left you will see a discussion box, click on the arrow and select FILL SERIES, all the numbers will be arranged in order.<br /><br />Date: the date has to be the present date,Well it has its own formula but the formula can be wrong when you have a wrong date in your system, so it is advised that you correct your date in your computer before applying the formula. What you have to do is click on the cell you want to add the date to and type either of the formula's below<br />=NOW()<br />=TODAY()<br />=DATE()<br />If you want to apply the date according to the number of serial numbers you have, you don't need to repeat the formula again, all you have to do is to click on the answer given to you by the formula and click and hold and drag downward without holding the control key... If the goods bought are in series or models, they should be specified with the aid of a bracket.<br /><br />Quantity: this is the number of particulars obtained by the customer.<br /><br />RATE: this is the cost of one of the particulars, if the goods bought are 3, how much does one cost?<br /><br />Cost: this is the amount the firm sold a product, hence multiplying quantity and rate will give you this amount. Formula is =SUM(E5*F5), if the fields are much, there's no need of repeating the same formula, all you need do it click and hold and drag for the answer to be applied to all.<br /><br />Cash: this is the amount deposited by the customer for the purchased goods. It is divided into 5 sections, which are;<br /><br />CLIPBOARD<br />FONT<br />PARAGRAPH<br />STYLES<br />EDITING<br /><br />CLIPBOARD: this features enable the user to copy, cut and paste the content of the clipboard. sometimes, it can be applied to other clipboards.<br /><br />FONT: Under font we are able to adjust our font using the tools provided, we have various fonts and they differ from one another, hence i refer to as different persons with different hand writings. Although there are some fonts that looks alike while some are different. But all the same fonts are fonts, they add to the beautification of our documents. there are fonts specifically made for word processing, some are made for graphic designs, some are made for presentations and many more. All these adjustments are made possible because of the presence of; font size which enables us to change the size of a desired font (usually ends at 72), grow font and shrink font which function as font sizes (more than 72), clear formatting which helps to remove formatting from a selection and leave only the plain text, bold which enables the text to thick, italics makes the text to be slant, underline adds a line under the text (THE ARROW CLOSE TO IT INDICATES THERE ARE MORE OTHER UNDERLINES THERE), strike through which can be used to strike through the middle of a selected text and also used to produce a Naira sign, subscripts creates small texts below text base line, in mathematics we call it BASE, superscript used to create small text above text line, usually called RAISED TO POWER, we also have the change case which is used to change the font either to sentence case, toggle case, upper case, lower case etc. We have font color used to change the text color and we also have text highlight color used for making a text looks like i was marked by a pen. In the case of this find and replace, if for example i am typing a document and among the sentences that makes up the document is the word programme instead of program.
