The publication, citing “people familiar with the matter,” said the split may be made public as early as tomorrow..<br />
<br />
The Journal also said that current CEO Meg Whitman will become CEO of the enterprise-oriented company, while the independent director Patricia Russo will be chairman. Whitman will serve as chairman of the PC/printer firm, and exec Dion Weisler will be CEO.<br />
<br />
Well i presume the reason for this change is because HP has been struggling with its dual selves of being oriented toward businesses’ high-end needs and toward personal computers and printers. Several company executives have discussed spinning off its PC unit in the past, only to be followed by the company asserting its long-term interest in PCs.<br />
<br />
In the year 2000, as some of us may know, Agilent Technologies split off from HP, taking with it the test and measurement equipment business that was HP’s first line of business.<br />
<br />
This company has reigned and its still reigning as the no 1 PC maker in the world, even if dropped to second place last year in the rankings of industry research firm IDC, after Lenovo, i still prefer Hp over any, its durable, and most of all it has a second hand value in my country....  Its printer/personal systems group rakes in about $56 billion in fiscal 2013, about half the company’s total, but sales are down about seven percent from the previous year.<br />

How to Activate Windows 8 with License or Activator !

In either way the main aim is to activate the windows, it could be very easy to activate your Windows 8 version. Well, the second method is one i love so much as you dont need a License in order to activate it. In this step all you need do is download and install an activator from the given site...<br />

But how can i do this? Read on!!!<br />

Note: You must have a licence key that you may have bought before or downloaded from the net.. If you do not have a licence key, <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx" target="_blank">CLICK HERE TO GET ONE!!!</a><br />

1. On your desktop background,  move your cursor over the right most corner (top or bottom) to pop out certain items including settings, start......<br />
<br />
2. Click on the "Search" icon and type "cmd" in the box that appears. (Black box)<br />
<br />
3: Then the Command Prompt window appears, all you need do is to to type ‘slui 3' (with space in between slui and 3) and press Enter.<br />
<br />
4. Immediately, you will be taken to the Windows Activation panel and within the 'Product key' box, enter your product/license key.<br />
<br />
5. Almost, some times not immediately, your Windows 8 will be activated as soon as you click the 'Activate' box below.<br />

You don’t even have to link a bank account.”<br /><br />Although PayPal is apparently mentioned in the code, Aude said he didn’t see a PayPal option when he tried it out. Only debit cards can be used in the present incarnation, he said — no credit cards or bank accounts — and there are only person-to-person transactions. Payment between multiple participants is mentioned in a note as a later option, Aude said.<br /><br />The transaction is made via an ACH electronic transfer to the checking account of the recipient, although it’s not yet clear how the recipient’s bank account is entered. You merely need to select a theme along with the images/videos, as well as a soundtrack, and it can automatically create a highlight reel..
