It is not a wasted effort for our windows to be designed with date feature with it. It is actually designed
to make users keep to time per say.. Well sometimes the dates of our computers may not be correct,
either because the CMOS battery of our computer is weak or because someone deliberately changed it,
whatever the case may be, when such occurs as a user of the computer system, we are therefore
expected to adjust or correct the date and time of that computer. But the big question is how this can
be done... This can be carried out successfully,
simply follow the procedures below
1. Double-click on the time which sits on the right-hand side of your windows (windows 7 users)
2. After that has been done, you will see an image like this
from this image, we will see everything crystal clear, simply Left click on change date and time settings
and a date and time dialogue box will display.. so one can adjust the date and time from there
Apart from manually adjusting our date from the task bar, it is also possible for us to adjust our date and
time using the command prompt.
HOW CAN THIS BE DONE?
this method has been tested and its working really fine, i wont waste yourtime.
Firsts things firsts, open COMMAND PROMPT by Clicking start> all programs > Accessories>
Command prompt. i believe we all knows what it looks like.
After opening it, type DATE.EXE, there you will see (see image)
(mm-dd-yy), just add the date according to the sequence. The month first, followed by the day and the
the month and press enter..
NOTE: to know this has worked, i will suggest you backdate your date so that when you place a correct
date you will see the difference..
(A video about this will be posted on our YOUTUBE CHANNEL, feel free to watch from there, SEEN IS
BELIEVING THEY SAY)
Now click on the other OK button on the Date and Time dialogue box.
In the case of time, after opening the COMMAND PROMPT, simply type TIME.EXE and follow the
same procedures we have with that of the date...
