HOW TO KNOW YOUR WEBSITE SPEED

hello there, this post goes out to my peeps who are into either blogging or web designing in general.

well during my course of searching the internet on finding ways i can limit the load time of my blog,

9JALINKS. I happened to come across a post that actually shows why your

blog/website should load faster or slower and PINGDOM was introduced. using

pingdom will show you the reasons why your blog is slower while loading, the widgets you added and

all their sizes and according to other posts i have read, when your blog/site loads slowly they are

hardly seen in the Google search engine, hence your traffic is reduced...... we wont say much, all you

i think the fattest site with the best load time is NAIRALAND has it has little or no

pictures, while sites like WAPLOADED, NAIJALOADED also have their various load

time, WAPDYNAMO also have a short load time, as for us our load time remains the same, it

load in about 3.19 seconds with a total home page size of 1.9mb as shown below
