WHAT IS THE RECYCLE BIN AND WHAT ARE ITS USES

The recycle bin is one of the most important feature in the operating system of windows....
Well, we can simply refer the recycle bin to a place where all deleted files are stored for reference purposes. I will expand on the explanation of the above definition. When a new computer is bought its icon happen to be the only icon present in the windows desktop, this is also the case when a computer is formatted.
When files or folders are deleted from the computer, they go straight to the recycle bin, but how do we know this ? the below picture will explain better. looking at the picture, you notice the system is asking for permission to move the file to the bin. this is done by pressing or pushing the DELETE button (other ways exists, they will be touched later). when the delete button is pushed, the question in the above image will appear, then the computer user is given the choice to either select yes or no. if yes is selected the file will be moved to the bin, but if no is selected, the file stays at its previous position. or you can simply click and hold on the file to be deleted and drag it into the recycle bin

Most people compare the recycle bin to a waste bin due to its ability to return already deleted files. files that have been deleted to the bin can be returned if still found userful by the user by the control of RESTORE or CUT after which it is pasted in the required position. Now, apart from those features, DELETE and PROPERTIES also exists there. When a file is deleted from the recycle bin its no longer in the computer, it leaves permanently, although there are several HARD ways to get tehem back through the ATTRIB command in MSDOS but learners should not temper with it to aviod damage. Deleting a file from the recycle bin is like dropping a valuable in waste bin and you later found out that what you have dropped is of value to you, what do you do ? you simply go back there and get it. its same with the recycle bin, valued deleted files can be restored back to the system. Come to think of it, how about it that valuable you dropped in your waste bin have been disposed ? would it be posible to get it back ? No is the answer. so when files are delibatrately removed from the recycle bin there is little or no means of getting them back.
For one reason or the other, we might want to restore all the items or delete all the items in our recycle bin, its easy, all you need to do is
1. Open the bin
2. click on restore all items or
3. click on empty the recycle bin
