How to create windows themes

Many at times, we have seen various types of themes in both or computer or there devices that permits the feature. Well, windows also have that feature of applying themes depending on the version of windows you are using. For example, window 7 supports the features, but do not be surprised that other versions of these same windows 7 may not have that features, windows 7 home basic does not apply themes, but every other windows 7 version possesses that feature of applying themes.

Well, the themes we apply to our computer adds to the beautification of it, thereby making it well arranged, it sometimes add to the brightness of the desktop back ground, it makes the icons and folders to be seen clearly, etc

But How can we apply themes if we have any ?

Application of themes is very easy; it’s quite different from installation of software’s and all that. All you have to do it open the folder where you have the themes and either double click on it or right click on it and click on open, and then wait for it to apply.

Note: whenever a new them is applied, the PERSONALIZE feature displays; showing all the already applied themes in that particular windows of that computer:

To open, right click on the desktops background and click on personalize..

Now if you look at the image above, you find out that a number of themes has been applied on my computer, and their names are there as well. So how can I add my own created theme to my computer.

1 the first thing to do is to arrange all the picture you wanna use to create the theme in a drive, usually an empty drive and then use any of the pix as your desktop background

2 then right click on your desktop background and click on personalize

3 now click on the pix you have previously used as a desktop background

4 and then look at the button of the screen your gonna see DESKTOP BACKGROUND, simply click on it and another screen will show up like this,

5 now click on browse and select the drive where you have saved the pictures they will appear just like this

Now all you have to do is to select the particular pictures you wanna use, looking at the top right, two options appear, SELECT ALL AND CLEAR ALL…. You can simply uncheck the pictures you don’t wanna use and leave the others. Then picture position should be left in fill or whatever animation that suits you, change picture every: should be adjusted to a particular duration. That’s how long a pix will stay before the next pix displays and then shuffle should be left unmarked. After all of these, click save changes.

After all of these are done, simply right click on the theme as done before and select SAVE THEM FOR SHARING, give it a file name and leave the file extension as .themepack as shown below

How to uninstall a theme

1 its all easy, just right click on the theme and select delete theme. Note: do not select on the theme first, do not click on it, just right click straight ahead.

2 Then confirm your action as YES
